![]() ![]() While The Fisherman: Fishing Planet is essentially the same game but ‘console-fied’, it essentially includes a mass amount of DLC that’s been released for it over the years, including a few bonuses and exclusives on top to entice new players. Truth be told, Fishing Planet has actually been on PC for quite some time as a free to play title. I even learned quite a few things about the equipment and techniques that I previously didn’t. For enthusiasts of the sport, they know there’s much more to it than that, and The Fisherman: Fishing Planet aims to bring that reality to console. ![]() Fishing is much more than simply getting a hook, tackle and drinking some beers on a lazy weekend. Even so, I did enjoy each time I went, and for whatever reason, I’m always drawn towards new fishing games when they release even though I have barely any real world experience. Issue with this great table it looks awesome and certainly works in terms of making money but if as it suggests by talking levels its a guide to best places to level up, its missing a major trick in terms of the lack of XP per fish - which would be far more informative than the Kgs - which could be provided by a simple rante.I can count the times I’ve actually gone fishing in my life on one hand. Whereas silver arowana for example are on around 900xp, but are around 2000 cash for around 2kg fish, and you can easily bring in +3 to time taken to catch 1 young shark, however while you might be racking in more cash, you aren't raking in the XP. Having done the amazon bit, you end up catching a lot of young bull sharks which aren't great money 9000, but are awesome on XP +4000 for around 76kg fish. Whereas for Sturgeon you are looking at 3605 to 15000 per fish.īut what isn't considered here is XP factor! Nor is it factored in how many fish you can catch in a time period (though generally this isn't a major issue, as I am sure that you are likely to catch at least 1 sturgeon in the time it would take to catch 4-5 pike). ![]() For Pike you will be betwen 680 to 1700 per fish (in my experience 950-1200 is most likely). ![]()
